what does hfb sterling mean?
i have a silver necklace and the medallion says h.f.b sterling on the back of it. is this solid silver or silver foil?
i cant find anything about that the only Haflinger Fohlen Bauer is a horse breeder. the reason i'm asking is because it looks like its beginning to flake a little, when i tried to clean it bits of silver come off on the cloth and there is a spot that looks inconsistent.
If it says sterling, it's real silver. HFB usually means Haflinger Fohlen Bauer, which is the manufacture.
