changing to a sterling silver nose stud after 2 months?
I've had my nose ring for 2 months and haven't had any problems with it. I was wondering if it was ok to change the stud to a sterling silver one?
I wouldn't suggest changing it. I tried to to that to mine and I developed the dreaded bump. I would wait until it has been around 5 months.
If you do decide to change it, I would not suggest sterling silver. Sterling silver in 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper so it might cause a reaction. I would use either titanium (if you like the color of silver) or 24k gold (not anything less because that has copper in it as well).
