what color shoes will go with emerald green?

My daughter (23) has a day wedding to go to and is wearing a strapless emerald green dress and can't find the right shoe. She bought a real trendy Steve Madden champagne color sandal but we're just not sure about it. She was looking a pewter color (a carlos santana shoe but didn't have her size) and is fussy about her shoes and couldn't find anything else. Any suggestions or comments on the champagne color?

I was going to say gold or silver but the champagne is like a pale gold, so I reckon that will be just fine.
