Pin Pendant

What is that little screw pin that you put in small toys or Cabochons to make it into pendant?

Hi!
I am realling interested in turning small plastic toys or cabochons into jewelry. How can I do this? I know I need to attach a certain pin with a loop for stringing. But I don't know where to get them or what I'm supposed to do.

In the pic, the pony/toy is probably attached with a small eye screw but the beads are probably connected to the jump rings with "eye pins."
