A holder for necklaces?
So i was wondering i need something to hold my necklaces so can you tell me how to make something to hold my necklaces?
a block of styrofoam, some lace fabric, ruffled lace edging, straight pins, craft glue, ribbons, and some really cute fancy head pins.
You can leave the styrofoam square or oblong or cut it with a very sharp knife if you wish for another shape, but another shape is harder to cover with the lace fabric.
Cover the front of the styro with the lace lapping and folding the edges to the back. Using glue on the pins, fasten the back of the lace to the styrofoam. Put the ruffled lace edging on the edges using the glue and pinning it in place. Put the ribbon around the whole thing with enough at the top to make a hanging loop about 6 inches doubled long.
Use the fancy pins on the front to hang your necklaces from. You can also put your french wire earrings on the lace edging.
Hang on the wall as a decoration!
