Dream meaning of Broken heart necklace?

I dreamn't this morning that my sister gave me a heart necklace..

The heart was gold and silver and the chain was gold. I reached over and grabbed the necklace to try it on and I saw the chain was broken.

I was disappointed in my dream. What did it mean?

proportions?
