i spilled red wine on an earring that is swarovski crystal set in silver...i think some of it leaked into the setting, as one of the earrings has a little purple tint to it. can i soak the earring or clean it myself? how? or do i need to get it professionally cleaned?
A little vinegar water should clean the crystal just fine.
I have many Swarovski crystals. My hobby is jewelry making. The diluted vinegar works well, rinse and dry it right away,do not leave them soak. This would not be good for the silver. No harm to the crystal.

My dress was red and it was amazingly gorgeous. I never wear dresses or dress up girly but i loved that day, i got my hair done and it was lovely. I hope you have an amazing day. I would do mine again tomorrow. Make the most of school while you are still there. I always said i wouldn't miss it but i wish i could go back and do it all again tomorrow!!
i would advise no heels. You are going to be dancing on your feet all night and they will get sore. I wore heels and had to take mine of half way through the night. Try and get a cute pair of flats.

Does anyone know what Swarovski uses to glue their pieces together?
Every time I buy a little figurine or annual ornament, I am amazed at how crystal clear the glue is that holds the crystal together.
Anyone know what kind of glue that is or what kind you think it might be?
